This quaint but battered pub hosts live music more than three nights a week and is purported to be the venue used by KT Tunstall before she was famous. The eclectic live acts alternate between blues, folk and indie. The pub itself has acquired a worn dilapidated charm and plays host to a huge variety of regulars from preppy students to weather worn locals. Downstairs in the cellar bar impromptu musical performances and dancing are not unheard of. It is one of the latest opening pubs in St Andrews and boasts a vast selection of whiskey and European Ale having featured in 19 entries in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide in the last twenty years.
