Sheol is a theatrical séance and a contemporary lamentation for the dead and the undead, the born and the unborn, inspired by Górecki’s Symphony No.3 and Chagall paintings. Performance with live music and extraordinary density, as if performers bodies were at once both a sound and an instrument. Sheol is a story about the desire and will to live a life that is full and vibrant. Created by Total Theatre Award and Herald Angel winner, director Jaroslaw Fret. Grotowski Institute residence at Fringe supported by Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
