Tony Singh is kind of a biggie in the foodie industry, so it's only fair that one of his restaurants was named after his table. He's successfully run three separate restaurants during his 25 years in the field, and has a sideboard which is healthily stocked with awards galore. Along with Oloroso and Roti, Singh's third project Tony's Table aimed to serve up high quality, freshly prepared fare. in 2010, the restaurant faced closure due reportedly 'rough' trading conditions "In 2010, it seemed as though every restaurant in Edinburgh city centre was doing two for ones. All our stuff is made from scratch and using decent ingredients. We couldn’t cut the price without cutting the quality", Singh told 5pm magazine. 

The premises now play home to The Honours restaurant - ahem, sorry, dining establishment;  a luxuriant foodie retreat from the city which fuses Parisian recipe and technique with the flavours of original Scottish produce.
