Simple, honest burger porn describes the eponymously titled Burger. (and, yes, that full stop is deliberate) to a T. At the heart of the menu is of course the trusty burger, served on a shiny brioche bun. Then there’s the fries, hand-cut on the premises, and to wash it all down there’s milkshakes, made from their own homemade ice cream – choose from vanilla, chocolate or a half-and-half combo, to which you can add an extra element of deliciousness such as peanut butter or caramel sauce for an extra 50-odd pence (aka, who the hell wouldn’t?!). And the best thing about it is that it’s not that pricey, coming in at about £4 for a classic single, and for a shake it’s around £3. Burger. also does a breakfast menu of bacon and eggs (again in shiny brioche buns). With this, their second outpost (alongside their Fountainbridge one), located on Shandwick Place, providing a welcome addition to the West End’s breakfast, lunch and dinner time scenes.
