Sofi's Southside is the newest addition to Edinburgh's Boda Bars family tree, a line-up which includes gems such as Joseph Pearce's, Akva, Boda and of course, Leith stalwart, the original Sofi's.

This chain are much-loved across the capital, with their quirky Scandi decor and welcoming vibes. The latest southside venture is sure to catch the eye of passing students, with its Buccleuch Street location, but it's also super handy for anyone passing through the gorgeous Meadows, or anyone simply looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Specialising in home-infused cocktails, Kombucha's, loose leaf teas, fresh sandwiches, salads and soups, Sofi's Southside has plenty to offer across its menu, whether you're looking for somewhere to spend a morning, afternoon or evening. Their cosy lounge upstairs is perfect for private hire, and there's also free wifi throughout, making it an ideal place if you just need somewhere to chill or get that all important essay knocked out of the park.
