A country house weekend takes a turn for the worse when Bertie Wooster, loveable layabout, must play matchmaker for his newt-loving friend Gussie Fink-Nottle. Ably assisted by his wry personal Gentleman’s Gentleman (valet) Jeeves, Bertie must secure nuptial bliss for Gussie and the drippy Madeline Basset or bid farewell to his own dear bachelorhood. Cow-creamer, wannabe dictator, and newt-fuelled mayhem ensues.
