Live At Leeds announces first bands for 2016

Live at Leeds have announced the first wave of acts for next year's festival, which will feature a digital programme for the first time.

Next year's Live at Leeds line-up features Liverpool indie-pop quartet Circa Waves, New York indie stalwarts We Are Scientists, and garage rockers Band of Skulls. Rat Boy, Clean Cut Kid and Barns Courtney are also set for the festival, which takes place on 30 April next year. The one-dayer's line-up is headed by singer-songwriter Jess Glynne.

Live At Leeds have also revealed that the 2016 festival will feature a digital programme, run in partnership with Leeds Digital Festival. Live At Leeds 2015 featured sets from Hookworms, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, Joanna Gruesome and Menace Beach.

Live At Leeds takes place at venues across Leeds on 30 April 2016; the festival's digital programme runs from 26-29 April.
