Music Video Premiere: Marram feat. Jarvis Cocker & Margaret Bennett – Falling From The Sun

The Everything Is New Project is a charity initiative started by Transgressive North and Edinburgh band Marram to raise awareness and funds for disadvantaged children in India. Their massive compilation BOATS features contributions from Rustie, Son Lux, Deerhoof, Four Tet and many more.

So far, we've posted two tracks from Marram's debut album, and companion volume to BOATS, the star-studded Sun Choir – the first track we shared with you featured lyrical contributions from doseone and Irvine Welsh, and was featured in our Cloud Sounds playlist. The second was a video featuring Canadian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Owen Pallett, previously known as Final Fantasy – watch it here.

Today, The Skinny presents the exclusive premiere of a new track from Marram, featuring guest vocals from legendary Pulp front-man Jarvis Cocker and Skye folk singer Margaret Bennet, singing alongside The Light of Love Children's Choir. This Indian choir feature in the videos and tracks from Marram's album – the band met them while setting up the Everything Is New Project, the proceeds of which will be donated to charity Scottish Love in Action, which provides food, clothing, education, and medical care to children in southeast India by funding the Light of Love Home and School.
