Sacha Baron Cohen is back and word is he’s as outrageous as ever. His new satirical show Who Is America? aired last night in the US, and features the comedian playing a variety of characters as he convinces some high-profile figures to expose their own ignorance and prejudices.

One of Cohen’s new characters is Erran Morad, a former Israeli general with a love for America’s second amendment and extremely liberal gun laws – although he thinks they could be even more lax. Morad features in the first extended clip that’s been shared of the show. Wearing a tonne of latex that gives him a jawline that puts Desperate Dan to shame, Cohen speaks to a series of high-profile conservatives and convinces them to lend their support to his ‘Kinder Guardians’ programme, an initiative which aims to arm three and four year-olds with firearms to make them and their kindergartens safer.

In the first clip released by Showtime, we discover that children under five can essentially see in slow motion – “like owls” – and have “elevated levels of the pheromone Blink-182 produced by the part of the liver called the ‘Rita Ora’,” which gives them faster reflexes according to Larry Pratt, the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America.
