Get set to feel even more conflicted about that mobile phone you're reading this story on, because Charlie Brooker's brilliant technophobic anthology show Black Mirror is back, with Netflix announcing that the fifth series is due to drop on the streaming platform 5 June. Since moving to Netflix, Black Mirror series have contained half a dozen episodes, but it looks like this new series will be returning to the original Channel 4 format, with only three installments.

Little is known about the trio of episodes so far, but the teaser trailer released today gives us some clues as to what to expect. One episode looks to feature Fleabag's Andrew Scott, while another will centre around a performance by Anthony Mackie, best known to many as Falcon in the Avengers films. Perhaps the most eye-catching of series five's big-name guest stars, however, is Miley Cyrus, who looks to be starring in an episode as a pop star.

This will be our first dose of Black Mirror since the interactive feature-length episode Bandersnatch, in which viewers could make decisions on behalf of Fionn Whitehead's stressed-out protagonist, choose-your-own-adventure style. Take a first peek at series five in the player above, and look out for the new series landing on Netflix on 5 June.
