What's On Scotland 21-28 Aug: PITCH Scotland & more
Scotland's hip-hop conference and showcase PITCH returns to Glasgow. Elsewhere, the Fringe wraps up with Pussy Riot, Ismael Loutfi and more, and Works in Progress throw their third event
An international conference dedicated to hip-hop and underground music, PITCH has been touring around the country with a showcase of incredible acts from Scotland and abroad. They’re pitching up (haha) in Glasgow this coming week, taking over Drygate Brewery and McChuills from 27-29 August.
The programme is a diverse weekender, featuring all kinds of panel discussions, performances, DJ sets and more. Head to the opening showcase with headliner rising star Jamaican-Irish rapper JayaHadADream, with support on the night from the likes of Edinburgh-based rapper Conscious Route (pictured), or to the Thursday night pitch showcase with the likes of Intibint and Pan Amsterdam.
