RSA New Contemporaries has its sweet sixteenth birthday this year, and is celebrating with its usual incredible exhibition platforming the most exciting and cutting-edge talent emerging from Scotland's visual arts scene. Running at the RSA on Edinburgh's Mound from 22 March-16 April, the exhibition showcases 63 graduates selected from the 2024 degree shows across Scotland's various art schools, providing a comprehensive glimpse of a new wave of artistic practice.
Spanning everything from photography, painting and printmaking to moving image, installation and performance, there's something for everyone here – tickets start from £5, or are free on Mondays.
Listening Is Resistance with Majazz Project

There's a sweet little listening party at The Glad Cafe this Friday evening from Palestinian archival group The Majazz Project. Palestine Fundraiser

Head to Sett Studios this Sunday for an arts market and workshop raising funds for Palestinian families in Gaza. There's a wee art market, including prints by beloved The Skinny illustrators, books, a raffle, and a lo-fi filmmaking workshop run by Xuanlin Tham.

CHVRCHES frontwoman Lauren Mayberry is striking out on her own. Vicious Creature recalls CHVRCHES’ distinctive synth-pop sound with a more nostalgic pop bent, with big hooks reminiscent of the best of noughties pop, set against Mayberry’s defiant lyricism. Image: Charlotte Patmore.
