Urban Jings! The Verve Go Forth with New Album and Free Download

The Verve have announced the release of their fourth studio album

Having reconciled their differences late last year and neatly divided opinions amongst Skinny scribes whith their appearance at this year's Coachella festival, '90s luminaries The Verve (sans the bloke on the far right of this pic) have announced the release of their fourth studio album, a full eleven years after the appearance of their stodge-riddled MOR ‘classic’ Urban Hymns.

However, in keeping with the Skeletor-fronted ensemble’s penchant for playing games with the press, there’s much deliberation over the record’s title. Some sources speculate it’s ‘Four’, others ‘Forth’ and a few have even gone as far to suggest ‘Fourth’ – the crazies (numerous press releases confirm that it will indeed be the middle of these contending variants - Ed). Whatever, two things are for sure: it’s going to start with an ‘F’ and will be out on 18 August.

The full track-listing is as follows:

Sit And Wonder
Love Is Noise
Rather Be
Judas
Numbness
I See Houses
Noise Epic
Valium Skies
Columbo
Appalachian Springs

The group are also offering a downloadable taster called Mover for free up until next Monday, 7 July, here.

Can YOU suggest an appropriate title for this release beginning with the letter ‘F’?
