La Cheetah Burlesque March Show
The Burlesque scene within Glasgow is growing at a rapid pace, with new events popping up all over the place. La <em>Cheetah! </em>is the new brainchild of Dolly Tartan based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
La Cheetah! had a wide range of performers including musical entertainment from Chassy VanKlass who brought burlesque and music together with great imagination. Lady V performed breath-taking en pointe ballet and Teniah Twisted led the audience up a most enticing yellow brick road.
The evening was compered by Dolly Tartan who also performed in the night, and for a first outing of what hopes to be a regular night, pulled in a wide and varied crowd to the show and promised to be a continuing crowd pleaser. With so few established and continued evenings in burlesque of the moment, La Cheetah! deserves its place with the ‘big boys’ of the scene, and if it continues to grow in its current pace, should catch up in no time.
