Theatre June PREVIEW

Article by Yasmin Sulaiman | 15 Jun 2006
Glasgow takes the reigns in theatre this month, as we realise that Shakespeare is far from dead in the city. Eduard Bersudsky's celebrated sculptures come under our watchful gaze and it's five stars for Theatre Modo's 'Don Quixote'. In Edinburgh, Jules Horne's 'Gorgeous Avatar' impresses our critic and 'Andalucian Images of Carmina Burana' provides equine excitement. On top of all that, our resident theatre-basher has another go at denouncing that artistic realm we love the most, attacking the drying up of the capital in the run-up to the Festival – but he hasn't convinced us yet.
