WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Nintendo)

a definite party game

Feature by Josh Wilson | 10 Feb 2007
WarioWare is frantic and varied (it featuresmtwo hundred mini-games), but mostly, it's an awesome demonstration of the power of the wiimote. With over twenty different 'forms' of wiimote use (ranging from elephant trunk, to hip gun slinging) WarioWare uses Nintendo's innovative technology more fully than any game yet released for its latest console. Which is nice. But is it fun? Well, yes, though you will play it through in one sitting. The longevity of this game comes in multiplayer: with up to twelve people able to play at once (provided they can cope with the different methods of control) the ensuing (if drunken) madness is brilliant – many people x one remote + frantic/mad games = awesome. Single player, whilst mildly addictive, is somewhat short-lived, and the multiplayer isn't for everyone, but with a good crowd, it can be a brilliant laugh – a definite party game. [Zach Morris]
