Mel Gibson's partner wants "rocket scientist" baby

Mel Gibson’s girlfriend wants their daughter to be a “rocket scientist”.

Oksana Grigorieva only gave birth to Lucia Anne on October 30, but is already planning her future career. She would love Lucia to follow in her footsteps by becoming a musician, but insists she will support her no matter what she decides to do.

She said: “As far as I’m concerned she could be one of the world’s greatest rocket scientists! It would definitely be a shame not to teach her the piano, though, because she’s got beautiful long fingers. I’ll definitely encourage and inspire her to play piano and maybe to write her own tunes because children like to do that – I was a teacher for many years.”

Oksana, 39, is from Russia, and is keen to teach her daughter about her heritage. She is not sure when Lucia’s first trip to the country will be, but is keen to get her speaking the language as soon as possible.

She explained to Hello magazine: “We have not plans to go back yet, but I would like to very much. I’m very proud to be Russian. As well as teaching her piano, I would love to teach her the Russian language so she can read Tolstoy and Gogol in the original. That would be a gift.”
