Goldie Hawn to Kate Hudson: stop obsessing!

Goldie Hawn has told Kate Hudson to stop obsessing about getting married.

The veteran actress is concerned her 30-year-old daughter is rushing her romance with New York Yankees baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez, who she began dating earlier this year. It has been claimed Kate – who has five-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson – is keen to walk down the aisle again in the near future, although Alex is still getting over his divorce from Cynthia Rodriguez, which was settled last year.

Kate often talks about settling down with Alex in front of their friends, but Goldie is reportedly concerned she might scare him off if she continues planning their big day.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: “Kate acts like they’re already married, talking about when they’ll have babies and where they’ll live. Goldie noticed Alex invariably changes the subject whenever Kate raises those topics, and so has warned her daughter to put wedding and baby talk on the taboo list.”

Goldie has advised Kate to spend more time enjoying her new relationship and having fun, claiming there is plenty of time for the couple to settle down in the future.

Goldie and actor Kurt Russell have been in a relationship since 1983, but have never married.
