Dita Con Teese thinks Victoria Beckham "gets it right"

Dita Von Teese thinks Victoria Beckham never smiles because she “knows what works for her”.

The burlesque star admires the former Spice Girls singer because she is never photographed in unflattering positions.

“Victoria Beckham always gets it right,” the 37-year-old beauty said. “She’s super body-conscious and she knows how to dress her body. She’s always really poised. I know a lot of people give her a hard time, saying, ‘Why doesn’t she smile?’ but she totally knows what works for her and looks great in every picture.”

Dita admits she is not as good at posing as Victoria is, claiming she hates looking at photos of herself because she often looks “awful”. But the raven-haired star is improving her red carpet technique by copying Victoria and sticking to a few classic poses.

“I’ve seen lots of bad picture of myself,” she told Glamour magazine. “And I think, ‘I’m never gonna do that again’. Good posture is important. If you just straighten yourself up, your body will look better. I have a lot of standard poses on the red carpet now, so I usually ignore photographers when they ask me to pose this way or that. I know what works.”
