Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie “fight like cat and dogs”.

The couple raise six children together, but it was been claimed their relationship is increasingly volatile. They reportedly struggle to agree on the best way to look after their kids, and even row about how to store toys.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “They fight all the time about the kids - where to put toys, saying the wrong thing to a nanny, not cleaning up. Like cats and dogs.”

Meanwhile, a new book about the pair alleges their arguments are sometimes so bad they are forced to spend time away from each other. Ian Halperin claims the pair constantly split and get back together in his new book Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

The book states: “They've broken up so many times it would make your head spin."

Halperin claims Angelina, 34, “has a temper like a cobra”. He also alleges she has confessed she became so depressed in 1998 – a year after she split from her first husband Jonny Lee Miller – she hired a hit man to kill her.
