Aliens occupy Robbie Williams' thoughts "daily"

Singer Robbie Williams is known for his fascination with extra-terrestrial activity. Robbie puts this interest down to immaturity, admitting he hopes there is life outside planet Earth because it would be “magic”.

“It’s something I am fascinated by,” he said. “I saw something strange above the Beverly Hills Hotel once. It was about 100ft up in the air and it was giant and flat and silent. Does it mean there are aliens from another planet? Probably not, but I hope so because that would be really cool. I want it to be extraordinary, otherwise it’s boring.

“It’s something that occupies my thoughts daily. I’m like an eight-year-old – I want some magic in my life. That’s just the way it is.”

Robbie doesn’t understand why his love of UFOs and aliens has attracted so much attention, but he believes people began to question him after he took a three-year break from music in 2006 and gained weight.

He said in an interview on 4Music Favourites: “I have always been into UFOs, I have always been into the paranormal – it didn’t just creep up on me. People just became interested in that because I got fat and grew a beard. So what, I started eating doughnuts and forgot to shave.”
