While we've all been waving our Glo-sticks behind the Klaxons' nu-rave bandwagon, To My Boy have used their laptop-pop nous to craft a surprisingly unique treat. Owing a greater debt to Sparks' eccentric electro-glam than anyone else on the current scene, Jack Snape and Sam White have sent an electrical burst of life through the corpse of modern indie pop. Like Kelly LeBrock in Eighties teen flick Weird Science, To My Boy's Model offers us an eye-opening vision of the future. Luckily for us, though, this model has a little more substance. [Dan Coxon]
