The View - Wasted Little DJs

Dundee three-piece The View are probably too young to have experienced the Stone Roses and the La's first time round, but judging by this baggy-tinged offering, they've definitely encountered them at some point. This, their major label debut is pretty good fare, although the vocals seem a bit wayward at times. An unrelenting rhythm throughout makes you want to tap your feet and this can only be a good promise bearing thing. [Jon Seller]
