Already lauded as ones to watch in 2007, and with a forehead-slappingly obvious rock name, The Twang - with just one single under their belt - have a lot to live up to. Initially though, this second single sounds a bit, well, weedy. Jangly guitar and overly-polished production leave it feeling about as edgy as a bean bag. The lyrics don't help much either - all guilty boy emotions about having been a bit of a shit to someone you love. Somehow though it does grow on you, but if this is to be their year, they're going to have to make a better impression than this. [Darren Carle]
