The Bluetones - My Neighbour's House

best left for reminiscing

What became of the likely lads? Well, long before the Chas 'n' Dave ramblings of The Libertines the amiable sound of The Bluetones' Slight Return swarmed the country's airwaves. And as a new brand of sprightly upstarts appeared, Mark Morris' shuffling pop-pickers were ditched quicker than a Kate Moss boyfriend. But the fickleness of the music industry hasn't deterred this Hounslow ensemble as they return with new single My Neighbour's House. A zesty blast of Bluetonic bravado, it merely retreads the murky waters of Britpop. Like those late night tales of teenage misdemeanours, The Bluetones are best left for reminiscing.
