Less Than Jake - The Rest Of My Life / Don't Fall Asleep On The Subway

Doesn't matter if you call it sell-out, musical growth or 'The All American Rejects-syndrome', it does the works

Single title: The Rest Of My Life / Don't Fall Asleep On The Subway
Artist: Less Than Jake
Label: Reprise/Sire
Being giants on the US 'punk' scene, Less Than Jake don't make any mistakes. From their latest LP 'In With The Out Crowd' comes this double A-side. Kicking off with The Rest Of My Life, a tear-jerker of epic proportions about lost friendship and love that comes complete with strings, acoustic guitars and more depth than Dashboard Confessional. It doesn't matter if you call it sell-out, musical growth or 'The All American Rejects-syndrome', it's got the works. In order to maintain some street-cred, Don't Fall Asleep On The Subway is classic LTJ goof-ska-punk that won't break ground but will certainly please hordes of kids with less imagination than a goldfish. The single is out on September 4. http://www.lessthanjake.com
