Humanzi - Out On A Wire

This Dublin four-piece's brand of jump -round punk-pop supposedly marks the birth of a new 'underground rock scene' in the Emerald Isle's capital. Judging by the latest single, there's very little to set them apart from British counterparts like Hard Fi or Bloc Party. All the usual elements can be found: sing-a-long chorus, gritty basslines and grinding guitars. A tried and trusted method for success, though nothing much to write home about. [Suzanne Mitchell]
