Ghosts - Musical Chairs

There's nothing wrong with good pop music, or wanting to be popular. There's also nothing wrong with writing positive, upbeat music – but it's a high tightrope to walk with nothing but cheese below. Ghosts are BBC-tipped to be huge in 2007, but cross your fingers 'Musical Chairs' isn't blaring ten times a day from the radio you have to work alongside. Bouncy, nasal britpop, like the Bluetones but with a fuller sound, Ghosts' first impression is like Coldplay in clown suits. You know this game – run until the music stops. [Ally Brown]
