Filmschool - 11:11

Please, have we not endured the Joy Division revival long enough? The industry's final, feeble attempts to milk the Ian Curtis cash-cow has started to border on necrophilia. Filmschool do gain some credit in presenting their music in a far more emotive and fragile way than most of the acts that have ridden the wave of post-Curtis success over the past year, but 11:11 is unfortunately far too bland and non-capturing to live up to the excitable statements bandied around with their name. So please, can these acts not just take a swan dive now so we can put this chapter behind us and let the man rest in peace? [Chris Nordeng]
