The Sound Team - Work EP

It's raw and catchy and first track The Fastest Man Alive has definite radio appeal.

There is some hype surrounding these Americans and I can see why – they're not shit like the multitude of indie pretenders currently bobbing up every time a record exec decides he's found the next big thing. It's raw and catchy, first track The Fastest Man Alive has definite radio appeal, while the dreamy In The Dark No One Can Hear You Sweat has anthem potential. All tracks have an endearing loose and relaxed feel, the problem, as ever, is that it's all been done – decades ago. [Xavier Toby]
