Dan Against the World are probably solid, sincere, fellows, which is why I'm suggesting that they stop submitting this homemade release to record reviewers. It may find fans elsewhere, but we're constitutionally incapable of enjoying this sort of thing. Toothless, cloying, neo-punk guitar hooks? Squeaky, adenoidal, American-accented, vocals? A punk tune called I Just Want to Hide? A Christmas song? Let's not even discuss the pun in the album title. Sorry. Dan may someday conquer the world, but even the NME would trash this.
