Wide Days reveal showcase gigs for 2017

The showcase line-up for this year's Wide Days music convention and new music showcase in Edinburgh has been revealed

For the gigs on 21 April, Glasgow noise-pop quartet The Ninth Wave and Edinburgh queer punk band The Spook School play La Belle Angele, Declan Welsh is joined by Paisley art-poppers The Vegan Leather and Vistas at Liquid Room, and Emme Woods and JR Green play a showcase gig at Teviot Row House

Alongside the showcase gigs, Wide Days features a music industry conference at Teviot as well as networking events and opportunities; Wide Days alumni include HoneybloodC DuncanBe Charlotte and Kathryn Joseph.

Wide Days 2017 takes place on 21 & 22 April 2017; early bird tickets are £85 for both days, or £70 for a Friday pass which includes the conference and showcase gigs. Student accreditation for the Friday is available for £25, and a limited number of sponsored bursary passes are available for £25 for emerging music industry professionals, including artists – details here.
