Glasgow multi-venue festival The Great Western is back! The all-dayer takes over four spaces across the West End and Maryhill on Saturday 4 November, with the lineup announced this morning. Top of the bill are sleazy indie punks Warmduscher (lined up for The Great Western in 2019 until frontman Clams Baker broke his arm several days before the gig), joined by the genre-mashing Wu-Lu, the queer industrial techno-pop of LYNKS and the dark electronica of Forest Swords.

The Great Western also features a bumper crop of great new Scottish acts. Take your pick from the atmospheric indie-pop of Theo Bleak, Glasgow punks Water Machine, the neo-soul and R'n'B sounds of Becky Sikasa, Carsick Charlie's lo-fi folk, or Former Champ (the new band from members of Martha Ffion, Catholic Action and Savage Mansion). Over at The Piping Centre on Otago Street, Lost Map Records host a lineup that includes Sulka, Firestations, and the label's new eight-piece supergroup Weird Wave

Read the full lineup below; The Great Western takes place at Maryhill Community Halls, Mackintosh Cross Church, The Hug & Pint and The Piping Centre, Glasgow, on Sat 4 Nov. Tickets are £25 + bf, via tgwfest.com
