Fauves are a Glasgow-based band, formed in February 2016 by Ryan Caldwell after he began recording some demos with the help of drummer (and now bandmate) Ciaran Devlin. The band is completed by Jonny Glass and Rory Bradley.

The four-piece have released a few self-recorded songs over the past few months, gaining them attention from the likes of FatCat Records and BBC 6 Music. Their latest single, Hit Like This, is their first studio recording, recorded with Lewis Tollan at 45 Aside Recordings. The Skinny are delighted to be premiering Hit Like This ahead of the band’s appearance at the BBC 6 Music Fringe Festival.

Of the track, Caldwell tells us, "The song was inspired by the likes of Tahiti 80 and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, we have been really excited to share this track with everyone. I hope you enjoy the bass line as much as I do"

Fauves play the BBC 6 Music Fringe Festival at King Tut’s, Glasgow, 24 Mar
