Maybe it came with the wind; not overnight but with a swift breeze penetrating our globe day after day... and before we knew it, the world had changed. Sleaze and glam is no longer laughed at. Heroes like Nikki Sixx and Axl Rose are once again revered by nostalgiac hacks as the pioneers they've always been. One of the new hopes riding the first wave of the revival is this Luton five-piece. Fresh from a tour with Brides of Destruction, they take the stage resembling five trashed out models-turned-jailbirds with enough attitude and boots to match any of their competitors. The music then? Yes, a vague memory of music filtered through a Jack Daniel's haze is still left; it came across as a heavy blend of G n' R theatrics and purer stone-washed rock n' roll. Definitely enough hit-warning present to make a name for themselves but maybe not characteristic enough to claim the peak position. [Chris Nordeng]
