Fall Out Boy - Barrowlands @ Glasgow

FoB's onstage presence is quite enough to make it all look so easy

With Fall Out Boy's popularity mounting rapidly and their brand of upbeat punk-pop taking over the Billboard Top Ten in America, its not surprising that this entire UK tour sold out something sharpish. The kids were pouring in by their droves and pushing their way to the front to catch a glimpse of their new favourite flavour of the month. With token stage dives and spinning guitarists, it's no wonder the teenage girls were screaming themselves hoarse. Current single Sugar, We're Goin' Down moved the most hips along with Dance, Dance which whipped up something of a singalong pogo competition. The band's own confidence has grown in spades since their appearance in Glasgow just last year - FoB's onstage presence is quite enough to make it all look so easy. Verdict? If emo's your thang do not miss Fall Out Boy next time they're in town. [Gemma Slawson]
