lead singer Tom Smith declares, a man with arms outstretched; a man who has perhaps observed Chris Martin's dancing style a little too closely. He did, however, add a few original moves of his own; from hugging his guitar to precariously balancing it on his head. It's easy to see why Smith and his men get so riled up about their music, it's electrifying stuff, but their performance was let down only by a lacklustre encore, as nothing could beat the fantastic Bullets or Munich. Before departing, Smith did seize the opportunity to delight the Barra's crowd one last time with the news that they'll be appearing at T in the Park. Roll on Balado. [Emily Henderson]
