In the 17 years since Wu-Tang Clan first swarmed out of Staten Island, New York – that's Shaolin to you Wu-philes – armed with wanton levels of kung-fu knowledge and chess-playing finesse, as well as real weapons, obviously, they've become infallible legends.

Thus the Wu's first ever trip to Glasgow as a full unit, where they'll be playing the O2 Academy on 1 August (minus, of course, Ol' Dirty Bastard, R.I.P), is something you really shouldn't miss, even if only to witness RZA & co. belting out hip-hop classics into a crowd of lairy Glaswegians.
