Article by Gemma Lawrence | 08 Sep 2009

This September stimulate your auditory senses with the return of VERSUS to Edinburgh’s award-winning Voodoo Rooms. The evening promises live music packed with vigour and innovation by inviting not one but three bands to compete and collaborate together onstage.

The music makers will comprise of Meursault, The Foundling Wheel and Dead Boy Robotics whose individual sounds will be explored as they are challenged and mutilated to deliver something new. The amalgamation of Meursault’s alt. folk melodies with Dead Boy Robotics’ electronic discord, combined with the polyrhythmic experiments of The Foundling Wheel guarantee a night of exploding musical discovery.

Ted Koterwas, organiser of the first VERSUS in March, has described each evening as a “uniquely special one-time event” in which the audience will experience this live mash-up of three distinct talents. You are invited to witness the evolution of music- a night not to be missed!
