New York’s Nina Nastasia will be bringing her lilting, delicate brand of folk-rock to Edinburgh’s Electric Circus on 8 Dec. Her latest album Outlaster marked a return to the form of career highs Dogs and The Blackened Air, embellishing her characteristic haunting arrangements with rich, velveteen strings.

Nastasia’s voice is as strong and evocative as ever, and is always arresting live; the lyrical themes of crisis, resistance and survival explored on Outlaster should make for an intense evening.
