Jeniferever @ Cabaret Voltaire, 24 Sep

Article by Austin Tasseltine | 18 Sep 2009

With the nights drawing in and our breath once again visible as we kick through the remains of Autumn's vibrant decay, what could be more suitable than some Scandinavian romanticism? Swedish break-out success Jeniferever make their second trip to our shores this year, once again aiming to make girlfriends swoon and sensitive indie types go all glassy-eyed with their softly sung, delicate yet expansive sound.

Call it what you will; post-rock, ambient indie. Their previous UK tour-mates Appleseed Cast provide as accurate a reference point as one might require. These forthcoming back to back shows at Edinburgh's Cabaret Voltaire and Glasgow's Classic Grand also see them teamed up with some most promising domestic talent in the form of Midas Fall and Beerjacket in the capital and The Ansion and Three Blocks From The Wake the following night.

7pm, £TBC

Also playing Classic Grand, Glasgow on 25 Sep.
