With the release of the his latest long player, There Is Love In You, Kieran Hebden has managed to eclipse a decade’s worth of high quality output under his Four Tet guise, with a lustral, looping masterpiece of an album. Given his already messianic status prior to its release, it’d be fair to hail Hebden’s appearance at Edinburgh’s Bongo Club as something of a must see. Admittedly, he may burrow himself amidst a mass of laptops and samplers on stage, however those decrying his somewhat static live appearance should need only close their eyes, and bask in the presence of genius.
