Fresh from Pukkelpop and V festivals, Eels are dropping by to promote Tomorrow Morning, the record set to complete the much hyped album trilogy begun by Hombre Lobo and End Times. Mark Oliver Everett ( or 'E' to the every day plebians) may seem like one of the weirdest men in modern rock but only a fool would argue with the 25 years of inventive, emotive music under the man's belt, never meeting a topic he couldn't lyrically lick. Beautiful Freak might have had its day some 15 years ago now, but the tour accompanying Eels' ninth studio album is no less a shoo-in. [Lauren Mayberry]
