Bombay Bicycle Club @ Barfly, 23 Oct

In an effort to equate cutting-edge music with, um, jeans, Levi’s has been picking up-and-coming bands to hit the road on their Ones to Watch tour. The latest leg of the tour, featuring youngsters Bombay Bicycle Club, paces into Glasgow’s Barfly on Thursday 23 October. Signed to Young and Lost Club, and at the tender age of 18, the Cyclists have been making good rounds with their damaged affectations of indie, released across a handful of singles and EPs. A discovery of Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian), it might be best to catch these Londoners before they go from being the next big thing to simply a ‘Big Thing’. [Jason Morton]
