Defining the indefinable
To grab an audience during the Fringe, you need to be different. With a name that means "belonging to no group" or "impossible to define", Siro-A seems up to the challenge. Following their performance to over thirty thousand people at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the six-man group from Japan will make their international debut with their Technodelic Comedy Show this year.
How was Siro-A formed?
SIRO-A was formed in 2002 by six high school classmates, each with their own set of specialised skills. They wanted to do something that was not just the normal everyday drama/performance art genre, but something new and highly innovative.
With the common goal of seeking "the next generation of entertainment", the six member group started to use technology to blend music, visual media together with physical movement and comedic elements.
Why did you choose The Fringe for the world debut of your Technodelic Comedy Show?

It is THE place where the world's top artists and performers gather together to perform and gain recognition for their work.
We have been preparing, researching and developing brand new performance materials especially for our Fringe performance debut for the last 2 years in Japan.
It is our goal to entertain as many people as we possibly can at the Fringe. It is our dream to break the world language barrier to entertainment all people of the world.
