Dream Catcher

Venue Review by Laura Schwormstedt | 17 Mar 2006
This internet café-come-bistro is a friendly and welcoming place to go, whether you want to surf the net or sit down on the big comfy couch with a cappuccino and a paper. They sell a variety of light snacks such as fresh sandwiches, scones and pizza slices among organic health bars, fruit and soft drinks. They even have a selection of mini cereals pre-packed with bowl and spoon just in case you missed your breakfast. Located in Newington it attracts a mix of students, travellers and young people. They offer excellent coffee at a decent price and fairly cheap internet rates (50p for 20min). The walls are covered with posters of what's happening in and around Edinburgh and the music they play ranges from rock and alternative to laid-back lounge beats. The easy-going and informative staff make this a relaxing place to go and chill. [Laura Schwormstedt]
