Captain Marvel joins the Avengers in new Endgame trailer

Many people’s takeaway from watching Brie Larson’s all-powerful Captain Marvel in action in the character's recent movie has been simply, 'Thanos is screwed'. Brie Larson’s kickarse superhero is currently ruling at the box office, but we’re yet to see her interact with the Avengers (unless you sat through the credits of Captain Marvel for the post-credits scene, that is). With just over five weeks until Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas, we see the character meet Thor and the gang in the latest trailer.

We don’t see much else that’s new in this promo, though, as for much of its two and a half minute runtime we’re flashing back to previous entries in the Marvel canon with glimpses from Iron Man and Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as the catastrophic ending of Avengers: Infinity War, in which half the population of the universe were turned to ash, including many of the most popular Marvel heroes. But of course we know the likes of Spider-Man and Black Panther have films lined up on the Marvel slate, so Iron Man, Black Widow, and the gang, along with Captain Marvel, better be working on a way to reverse events of the previous movie. "Whatever it takes," we hear several characters say in the trailer. This is going to be a bloodbath.
