Film title: Fushitsusha - 1991.9.26 19:15-20:08 (PSF)
The "loudest band on the planet", Fushitsusha are the rock vehicle for Keiji Haino, the singlemost spectacular, both visually and musically, guitarist/vocalist to shred heads. Fushitsusha are a trio with bass and drums laying paths for Haino's otherworldly ritual, and sound something like The Doors caught up in a nuclear whirlwind whilst conversing with delirious deities... backwards. Ferociously psychedelic stuff. Frantically playing his axe with his whole being, the opportunity to watch Haino should not be missed, making this DVD release of an early video stand head and shoulders above any available catalogue as an introduction. The footage is from one single static camera pointed directly at the band, which means that it is just like being there and in the front row, and provided you don't have any neighbours for 100 miles, you can play it at volumes approximate to those of the concert.
