Held over three days in rural Stirlingshire, Doune the Rabbit Hole is one of Scotland’s most intimate festivals and is set to celebrate its tenth birthday edition this summer. It’s certainly marking its double digit status in style, with an eclectic and diverse line-up of both local and international acts that puts a recently announced Glasgow festival to shame.

Among the eye-catching first names announced for the 2019 edition are American singer-songwriter John Grant, Glasgow-based singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph, and dub music legend Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. You’ll also find punk poet John Cooper Clarke on the bill alongside New Orleans' Hot 8 Brass Band and Dunfermline punk veterans The Skids.

The blissed-out disco of Glasgow-based duo Free Love is also coming to Doune the Rabbit Hole, as are Bob Marley’s seminal reggae band The Wailers. There’ll also be music from the Brooklyn art-rockers Battles, Bristol trio BEAK> and Glasgow singer-songwriter Heir of the Cursed, and DJ sets from Simian Mobile Disco and snooker-ledge turned DJ Steve Davis. And that’s only scratching the surface. Full list below.

“Doune the Rabbit Hole prides itself on offering a relaxing and invigorating experience for festival fans from catching bands perfect for the summer to sampling delicious locally produced food and drink, yoga workshops and a host of family activities to keep children entertained, more of which will be detailed soon,” said festival director Jamie Murray. We’re proud to continue our under 12s go free policy with weekend tickets for under 18s priced at just £30 including camping, ensuring its one of the best value festivals in the UK for families.”
