Human basketball hoops, choreographed hip hop and break dancing, juggled plates, champagne bottles and machetes... this gives you some idea of the performance in store from the international cast of Tossers- More Balls than Most. Essentially they are circus acrobatic act that move beyond mere juggling, following a narrative with some comedy thrown in for good measure. Set in a café, the customers as well as the staff perform varies scenes attempting to dodge the boss.

Forgot the unfortunate pun in the title and you're in for an entertaining hour...the cast are passionate and exciting bringing together elements of acrobatics, dance, juggling and comedy. They don't always get it right the first time but somehow they get away with it… What they lack in professionalism they make up for in enthusiasm and with Rawlings juggling ping pong balls from his mouth and other cast members drinking wine standing on their heads, it's certainly a spectacle.

Helped along by a brilliant soundtrack which takes us from the background jazz of a café to beat boxing and break beat especially written for the show, the performers go some way towards succeeding in creating a sort of modern day variety show. Skillfully choreographed, this show has wide crossover appeal. Just don't forget to look out for those wheels flying across the air in your direction…
Udderbelly.
